Welcome to our new Member at Large, Reed Bailey!
Reed is the Director of Bands at Cienega High School in Vail, AZ. He is a South Georgia native and has been teaching high school band for the past five years. Before coming to Vail, Reed has served as the Director of Bands for the Morenci Unified School District and has previously taught on the Navajo Nation and across the southeast region of the United States. Reed currently serves as the Woodwind Caption Head for Convergence Indoor Winds in Goodyear, AZ and recently served on the Governing Board of the Arizona Music Educators Association as the state’s Tri-M chairperson from 2022-2023. Reed graduated with his Bachelors in 2019 from Troy University and a 2023 graduate of the University of Kentucky with an Masters of Arts in Arts Administration.
